Privacy Policy — Quixess Social (Meta Integration)

Quixess Social (“the Platform”) is published by Quixess Inc. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect data when you connect your Facebook Page or Instagram Business account to Quixess Social via the Meta Business integration.

1. Data We Collect Through Meta

1.1 Data you authorize via Meta Login

When you connect your Meta account, you grant Quixess Social specific permissions. We only access data covered by the permissions you approve:

1.2 Data stored after connection

1.3 Data we do NOT collect

Your personal Facebook profile data (friends, timeline, photos)
Private messages on your personal account
Data from Pages you do not explicitly connect
Ad account data or payment information
Data from other people’s Facebook or Instagram accounts

2. How We Use Your Data

Data accessed through the Meta integration is used exclusively to provide Quixess Social features:

Content publishing — Schedule and publish posts to your Facebook Page and/or Instagram account.
Analytics — Display engagement metrics, follower growth, and content performance in your dashboard.
Engagement management — View and respond to comments and messages from a unified inbox.
Content sync — Keep your dashboard in sync with your Page’s posts, comments, and insights.

We do not sell, rent, or share your Meta data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Quixess Social service.

3. Data Storage and Security

All Meta API communication uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the frontend or included in client-side code.
Meta data is stored in per-tenant isolated databases, ensuring your data is never mixed with another organization’s.
Long-lived tokens (valid ~60 days) are automatically refreshed before expiry. Expired or revoked tokens are discarded.
Infrastructure is hosted on secured Kubernetes clusters with role-based access controls.

4. Data Deletion

You can delete your Meta data from Quixess Social at any time through any of these methods:

Disconnect from dashboard — Go to Settings → Connections, click the Meta connection, and choose “Disconnect”. All synced data (posts, comments, messages, insights) is deleted immediately.
Remove via Facebook — Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → Remove Quixess Social. Meta notifies us automatically and we delete your data.
Request via email — Contact [email protected] to request full data deletion.

When data is deleted, all associated Facebook Page data, Instagram account data, access tokens, synced posts, comments, messages, and insights are permanently removed from our systems.

5. Data Retention

Synced Meta data is retained for as long as your Meta account remains connected and your Quixess account is active.
If you disconnect your Meta account or delete your Quixess account, all Meta data is deleted within 24 hours.
Deletion request confirmation records are retained for 90 days for audit purposes, then automatically purged.

6. Third-Party Services

The Meta integration communicates only with:

Meta Graph API (graph.facebook.com) — to read and publish content on your connected Pages and Instagram accounts
Quixess backend API — to store and process your data securely

No analytics SDKs, ad networks, or third-party trackers are involved in the Meta integration.

7. Your Rights

You may:

Revoke access at any time by disconnecting from your Quixess dashboard or removing the app from Facebook Settings.
Request data deletion by disconnecting your account or contacting [email protected].
Request a data export by contacting [email protected].
Review permissions by visiting Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → Quixess Social.

8. Children's Privacy

Quixess Social is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children through the Meta integration or any other part of the service.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use of the Meta integration after changes constitutes acceptance.
